2. VERECHANA KARMA{PURGATION THERAPY}:

4.SIROVERECHANAM OR NASYA KARMA:
Administration of the drug through nostrils is know as nasya. Nose is a gate way of the head. So systematically performed nasya karma cures almost all the diseases of the head.

1.SIRAH SEKAM {Siro dhara}:
Pouring a stream of medicated oil or ghee or milk or butter milk or decoction etc,.. on the fore head from a specific period and specific height and systematic manner is known as sirodhara.
2. PIZICHIL:
Pouring lukewarm medicated oil on the whole body in a specific manner is known as PIZICHIL and also called KAYA SEKAM.
3. NAVARA KHIZI OR SASTICASALI PINDA SWEDA:
Inducing local or genaralised perspiration by means of medicated puddings is known as pindasweda. Due to utilisation of Navara dhanya or Sasticasaali dhanya for the medicated puddings, this can be termed as Navara khizi or Sastica saali pinda swedam.
4. SIRO VASTHI:
Keeping the medicated oil on the head for a specific period with the help of a cap made of animal skin or Rexin cloth is know as Sirovasti.
5. SIROLEPAM:
Application of medicated paste on the scalp is know as ''SIROLEPAM".
6. PATRA PINDA SWEDA OR{ELAKKIDI}:
Getting perspiration by using vata hara leaves is known as ''Patra pindaswedam or Elakkidi''.
